Formuler Z11 Pro Max vs Firestick 4K Max: UK Review 2026
The battle of the titans. Should you buy the cheap Amazon Firestick or invest in a dedicated Formuler IPTV box? Here is my verdict.

The Contenders
One costs £60, the other costs £140. Does the price difference actually result in a better TV experience? I've used both as my primary device for two weeks each.
Firestick 4K Max: The "Good Enough" King

Pros: It's cheap, it's easy to hide, and it runs Netflix/Disney+ perfectly.
Cons: The menu is cluttered with Amazon ads. More importantly, it's not built for IPTV. You have to "sideload" apps, and if the remote is too simple for you, zapping through 30,000 channels can be a headache.
Formuler Z11: The "Sky Q" Experience
Pros: MyTVOnline 3. This is the best IPTV app ever made, and it only works on Formuler. It feels like a real cable box. The remote has number keys, a guide button, and dedicated shortcut keys. Plus, it has a Gigabit Ethernet port for zero buffering.
Cons: It's expensive and it's a bit "techy" to set up initially.
My Verdict
If you watch TV for an hour a day, the Firestick is fine. But if you're a sports nut or want a permanent "Sky-like" setup for the main lounge, buy the Formuler. It's a game-changer.
