Why does my IPTV buffer on BT Broadband?

BT Broadband enables BT Web Protect and BT Parental Controls by default. These filters classify IPTV streams as generic streaming media and can throttle or block them during peak hours (typically 7–11 PM). Log in to My BT, navigate to Your Security Settings, select BT Web Protect, and switch it off entirely. For BT ADSL users, upgrading to BT Full Fibre 150 dramatically improves stream stability.

The "Child Safety" Trap
