TiviMate Companion App Setup Guide (2026 Update)

Struggling to pay for TiviMate Premium? Here is the step-by-step guide to using the Companion app to unlock premium features.

The "TiviMate" Hurdle

If you've read my TiviMate Premium Guide you know I think it's the best software out there. But because Amazon and Google sometimes clash, you can't always pay for it directly on your Firestick. That's where the TiviMate Companion comes in.

What You Need

  • An Android Phone or Tablet (to run the Companion app).
  • A Google account with a payment method attached.
  • Your TiviMate username and password.

    • The Process

  • Step 1: Download "TiviMate Companion" from the Google Play Store on your phone.
  • Step 2: Open it and create an account.
  • Step 3: Choose "Unlock Premium" and pay the one-off or yearly fee.
  • Step 4: Now, go to your Firestick, open TiviMate, go to Settings > Unlock Premium, and login with the account you just created.

    • Don't Have an Android?

    If you're an iPhone user, this is a bit annoying. You can either use a friend's Android phone or install an "Android Emulator" on your PC (like BlueStacks) to run the Companion app. It’s a 10-minute job but it stays unlocked forever.

    Why do it?

    It unlocks Multi-View, Recording, and a much better UI. It’s worth the 10-minute hassle.
