How to Install Downloader on Firestick (2026 Guide)

Step-by-Step Installation

  • Go to the Firestick Home Screen and select the "Find" (magnifying glass) icon.
  • Type "Downloader" and select it from the list.
  • Click the orange Downloader icon and hit "Get" or "Download".
  • Once installed, STOP. You need to give it permission.
  • Go to Firestick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
  • Look for "Install unknown apps" and turn it ON for Downloader.
